Laboratory gluten strain meter VDK-7 is designed to determine the quality of wheat gluten grain and wheat flour by the amount of compression deformation under the influence of a certain load during a specified period.

It is used at grain-receiving, grain-processing, baking enterprises, variety testing breeding stations, research laboratories and inspection companies.

The principle and method of operation are based on measuring the value of residual deformation of a gluten sample after exposure to a calibrated load (punch) with a mass of 120 g for a specified time (30 s).
