OLIS has delivered a cereal and flake production plant to Canada

The OLIS company delivered a plant for the production of cereals and flakes to Canada

The “OLIS” company developed technology, manufactured and delivered to Canada equipment for processing barley, oats and peas into cereals with a capacity of up to 60 t/day and an oat flakes production line with a capacity of up to 36 t/day, the company’s press service reported

The delivery set includes:

“Since 1982, our company has been engaged in seed production of grain and fodder crops and soybeans. We also have a direction for the production of fodder for horses and poultry. Three years ago, they decided to build a factory for processing oats and barley into groats and flakes. Production of split peas is planned in the future. Currently, the plant has been launched and is operating according to schedule,” the company noted.

The company also said that the equipment installation and commissioning works were carried out online under the supervision of OLIS specialists from Ukraine.

“Work on this project began even before the war. The main challenge was to develop the technology of the line with the possibility of fitting the equipment into a non-standard room. Therefore, our specialists had to change the technology in order to accommodate the necessary equipment in the existing premises and at the same time comply with all regulations,” said Volodymyr Cheglatonev, Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs of OLYS LLC.

The company also added that this is not the first successful cooperation with Canadian enterprises, because previously “OLIS” supplied grain cleaning separators, separate grain processing and laboratory equipment there. Cooperation with Canadian entrepreneurs is the best manifestation of trust in our company and recognition of the high standards of the Ukrainian manufacturer as a whole.
