Purpose and scope
Grain Sampler “Ellis” is designed to take a sample of grain from a conveyor belt to further determine its quality.
It is used in grain receiving and grain processing enterprises, feed mills, oil extraction enterprises and inspection companies.
Description
Structurally, the Ellis grain sampler consists of a narrow, irregularly shaped container made of anti-corrosion material with a telescopic handle that can be easily removed for storage or transport. The closed part of the container has an arcuate shape for the convenience of moving the sampler, and the open part has a triangular cutout, which, in addition to increasing the area of the inlet, greatly facilitates visual control of filling. The small width of the container allows sampling both across the entire width of the grain flow by moving the sampler in the transverse direction, and from any part of the grain flow. In the upper part of the container there is a fastener for a removable telescopic handle, which allows you to take grain samples, both in hard-to-reach areas and at a safe distance from the moving elements of the conveyor mechanism. For comfortable carrying of selected grain samples, there is an additional handle, which is fixed by electric welding.
