Grain-cleaning separator PFEUFFER SLN 3
Purpose and scope:
Grain-cleaning separator PFEUFFER SLN 3 is designed to clean grain samples for their further analysis in the laboratory, to determine grain contamination, as well as to calibrate grain. This appliance is used for a wide range of products from flax seeds to corn and beans.
Description:
The grain cleaning separator consists of the sieve separator with a back-and-forth movement of the sieve body, the aspiration chamber, the separator for awns. The cleaning process takes place as follows: a sample of pre-weighed grain enters the awn separator, cleaned for a certain time (20-60 s), and is fed to the sieve separator. Light impurities are lifted by air into the cyclone and settled in a plastic bag, and the grain mass is cleaned on three sieves: the upper sieve (straw sieve) removes coarse impurities, the second sieve (sand sieve) separates crushed grain and mineral impurities (sand). The main cleaned grain is sent for calibration to the third sieve (grading sieve), by which the main fraction of cleaned grain is obtained, and through its passage – a fine fraction of cleaned grain (shrunken grain).
The separator has a wide opportunity to regulate its modes, namely: product feed rate, air speed and flow rate, sieving duration.
