Grain moisture meter KETT RM-450

Purpose and scope:

Grain moisture meter KETT RM-450 is designed for rapid measurement of the moisture content of cereals, leguminous crops, oilseeds, as well as products of their processing during harvesting, post-harvest processing and drying, storage and processing.

Cereals: corn, wheat, rye, barley, oats, rice, sorghum.
Legumes: peas, soybeans, beans, chickpeas, lentils.
Oilseeds: sunflower, rapeseed.
It is possible to calibrate the device for other crops and different food raw materials (up to 26 products).

Description: 

It is a microprocessor-based portable electronic device in which moisture content readings are displayed as a percentage on an electronic display. Uses dielcometric principle of measurement.
To measure grain moisture, it is enough to turn on the device, select the name of the scale corresponding to the crop or product being measured on the LCD display, take a sample into the cup, press the “MEASURE” (measurement) button, pour the sample into the device and in a few seconds receive the measurement result in % moisture.

The design feature of the moisture meter RM-450 (unlike other similar devices) is that this device has a built-in scale, which allows you to get the most reliable results of the moisture content of the measured material.

The device has the following functions:

• automatic correction of the measurement error that occurs due to the possible difference in temperature between the grain and the sensor of the device;
• possibility of automatic averaging of several measurements (up to 9);
• the possibility of shifting the graduation from -5.9% to +5.9%;
• automatic power off;
• individual adjustment of the calibration of the device by the user based on the determination of moisture content by the direct method of drying (in a drying oven).
