Purpose and scope:
Grain moisture meter FARMCOMP WILE-78 “The Crusher” with grinding is designed for express control of the moisture content of grain and seeds of agricultural crops.
Cereals: corn, wheat, rye, barley, oats, buckwheat, rice, sorghum, triticale, millet.
Legumes: peas, soybeans, beans, white clover, red clover.
Oilseeds: sunflower, rapeseed, flax, mustard, camelina.
Non-traditional crops: timothy grass, meadow fescue, ryegrass.
Description:
Moisture meter is a microprocessor-based electronic device based on the resistive method for measuring the moisture content of bulk materials.
The main difference from Wile-55 and Wile-65 is another more accurate measurement principle, a wider range of moisture measurement and the presence of a pair of built-in metal millstones, on the surface of which grinding elements are located. They are strong and durable enough to break the hard fruit shells, releasing the moisture contained in the germ and endosperm. Since the container closes almost hermetically, the original moisture content value is maintained.
It should be noted that the small volume of the sample (9-18 ml) placed in the moisture meter and subjected to a combined effect: gradual compression with the help of springs and partial grinding.
