De-awner MVO-1.5, manufactured by OLIS Ltd, is designed to remove awns of barley, oats. It is used in the preparatory departments of breweries and oat factories.
Description:
The de-awner MVO-1.5 works as follows: the raw materials that have entered the operating chamber are intensively mixed by the operating bodies. As a result, intergranular friction and friction of the grain against the sieve shell occurs, as a result of which the awns are separated from the caryopsis. The awns removed in this way are sifted through the sieve shell, and the treated grain is discharged through the outlet.
Additionally, it can be equipped with an aspiration channel to remove light impurities.
