For OLIS, 2025 was, on the one hand, a time to take stock of 20 years of activity and strategic planning for the next 20 years, and on the other, a year of active work on projects varying in scale and technology. We have compiled 10+ key facts and events of 2025 that clearly demonstrate that in the first 20 years of its activity, the company has laid a solid foundation for its further growth.
1. 20 years of stable development. As already mentioned, in 2025 OLIS celebrated its 20th anniversary. The anniversary marked a stage of maturity for the company: active production, export deliveries, and the launch of engineering solutions in Ukraine and abroad. At the same time, the 20th anniversary was not the end — it became a point of further movement.
“The company started literally from a garage, just like Microsoft or Apple once did, and in just 20 years it has built its own high-tech production facility and exports its products to 40 countries around the world — from Canada to Tanzania, from the EU to Central Asia.”, – this is how Alexander Vereshchinsky, founder of the company and Doctor of Technical Sciences, describes the growth of OLIS.
2. The EU market as one of the main directions. In 2025, the company actively promoted its products in EU countries.
- OLIS has implemented a buckwheat processing plant in Estonia based on the Optimatik G-24 aggregate groats mill with a processing capacity of up to 24 tons per day. The company’s technologists adapted the equipment to the architectural features of the customer’s production facility and implemented multi-format packaging, from big bags to small packages. An important advantage is the ability to produce both steamed buckwheat groats and unsteamed “green” buckwheat.
- In France, OLIS launched a line for processing oats and buckwheat. The facility became a logical continuation of the company’s strategy of systematic presence in Western European markets, where demand for modern grain cleaning and husking technologies is growing. Key equipment: SHTS husker and ASO air separator.
3. Markets in Central and South Asia. OLIS is actively expanding into markets outside the EU. International agreements have been signed and contracts concluded for the supply of equipment to countries in Central and South Asia.
4. World-class quality. In 2025. OLIS reached the milestone of 40 countries: this is the total geography of the company’s equipment exports for the entire period of its operation. This is the result of many years of systematic work in foreign markets, where stable operation of equipment in various climatic, regulatory, and production conditions is key.
“Every project implemented abroad is proof that Ukrainian machine building is capable of competing on equal terms with foreign manufacturers in terms of quality, reliability, and efficiency” emphasizes Vladimir Cheglatonev, acting CEO of OLIS.
5. The main market is Ukraine. Throughout 2025, many OLIS drum and flat-screen separators began operating in Ukraine and around the world, both on farms and in large grain complexes.
“State programs to support the agricultural sector—compensation of 25% of the cost of Ukrainian-made equipment and grant funds to support processing enterprises—have provided significant support for the technological development of the industry. Our customers have actively attracted funds under these programs to purchase equipment” notes Volodymyr Cheglatonev.
Among the interesting projects, the following should be noted
- In 2025, a high-performance OLIS grain cleaning tandem — a LUCH ZSO-200 drum separator and a Horizon-K-300 flat-screen separator — was put into operation at one of the enterprises in the Khmelnytskyi region. This combination of two industrial-grade machines is the optimal solution for the production needs of the enterprise, where, in addition to productivity, the flexibility of technological processes is important.
- One of the largest separators was also installed at a plant in the Ivano-Frankivsk region – HORIZONT-K-400A. This is a comprehensive solution from OLIS to simplify installation work and more efficiently use a flat-belt separator with a capacity of up to 160 tons/hour.
6. Large projects. One of the company’s areas of focus was large projects related to raw material processing.
- In 2025, OLIS implemented one of Ukraine’s largest pea processing projects for YEDNIST’ FOOD with a capacity of up to 120 tons per day. The company has introduced innovative technology for the production of unpolished pea groats without hulling and polishing machines. The resulting product has a smooth, glossy surface without mechanical damage and is intended for export markets.
- In 2025, EKOR launched a plant for the production of oat flakes. The project was implemented as a complete technological complex with modern quality control systems. Thanks to the implementation of this complex, EKOR has significantly increased its production capacity and expanded its range of finished products.
7. Power at every step. In 2025, OLIS developed and manufactured one of the world’s largest grain cleaning separators — the Horizon-K-500 with a capacity of up to 240 tons per hour. It is a flat-screen separator that can perform pre-cleaning, primary cleaning, and secondary cleaning (sorting, calibration).
8. Investing in the future. In 2025, OLIS systematically strengthened its cooperation with technical higher education institutions. The company equipped a modern educational and scientific laboratory, “Technologies of Grain Production and Hull Removal,” at Odessa National Technological University, equipped with modern OLISLAB laboratory instruments. The new equipment will allow students and teachers to study all stages of grain processing in practice — from husking to quality control of finished products. Throughout the year, meetings with university students were also held at the OLIS enterprise.
Areas for further cooperation with Uman National University were also identified.
9. Production in line with global standards. OLIS Production Manager Yevgen Bersenev successfully completed the three-week “Partnering in Business with Germany” program organized by the Federation of Employers of Ukraine. Over the course of three weeks, training was conducted at leading German manufacturing companies such as Mercedes-Benz Group AG, TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen SE, Kärcher, BPW, CHIRON Group SE, and others.
10. Exhibitions and conferences. In 2025, the OLIS brand was an active participant in more than 20 various industry events in Ukraine and abroad. At exhibitions and forums, the company actively presented its technological solutions and interacted with existing customers and potential partners.
The most notable events on the international market were exhibitions
- AGRITECHNICA 2025 (Germany) is one of the world’s largest agricultural technology platforms – OLIS demonstrated the LUCH ZSO-35 grain cleaning drum separator, an oat husker, and samples of cereals produced at enterprises built on the basis of OLIS equipment at its stand.
