A modular, universal grain processing plant, the “OPTIMATIK-K-15”, has been commissioned at one of Latvia’s processing facilities—a comprehensive technological solution from OLIS for processing wheat, barley, peas, corn, and millet into a wide range of grains: wheat, barley, pearl barley, peas, and millet.
A key feature of the “OPTIMATIK-K-15” is its high actual yield of finished products, which significantly exceeds the standard figures for a number of items. For example, the yield of polished wheat groats is 80–85% compared to the standard 63%, that of barley groats is up to 74%, and that of pea groats is up to 82%. Depending on the crop, the complex’s productivity reaches 700–800 kg/hour of grain.
The plant is designed as a modular system—a complete technological solution in which all key operations are already integrated: cleaning, hulling, polishing, sorting, and dust extraction. Special attention has been paid to operational parameters: the compact design of the complex and its low power consumption allow for efficient use in various production facilities, while the automated operation mode ensures process stability and reduces dependence on human factors. It is also important that the “OPTIMATIK-K-15” allows for the processing of grain with lower grain quality without compromising the quality of the finished product.
Installation and commissioning of the system are completed within a short timeframe—up to three days—which is critically important for enterprises planning to launch or expand processing operations without prolonged downtime.
“For our Latvian partner, we have implemented a technologically integrated system that already includes everything necessary for stable operation. This approach allows for a quick transition to the production of high-quality products and enables us to confidently work with various crops. At the same time, the launch of the ‘OPTIMATIK-K-15’ in Lithuania has once again confirmed the demand for OLIS’s versatile solutions in European markets,” said Vladimir Cheglatonev, acting CEO of OLIS.
