At this year’s Agro Ukraine Summit, Oleksandr Vereshchynskyi, founder of OLIS, shared practical experience in implementing Ukrainian technologies and equipment for grain processing, already operating in European markets, as part of the panel discussion “Transformation of grain processing in the process of European integration”. The discussion, moderated by the director of the Ukrainian Millers Association of Rodion Rybchinsky, was also attended by the director of the PVTP “GNL” Lyudmila Loginova, the general director of YEDNIST GROUP Sergey Bakum, the commercial director of the private enterprise “Kramar” Sergey Zakharchenko.
During his speech, Oleksandr Vereshchynskyi noted that today OLIS exports equipment to 35 countries, including EU countries. This concerns not only individual machines, but also entire technological lines for the production of cereals, flakes, as well as laboratory equipment necessary for grain quality control. Currently, the company is implementing many processing projects in Ukraine, including those aimed at export. Some of them are entering the launch phase.
Oleksandr Vereshchynskyi noted that OLIS technological and laboratory equipment fully meets the requirements of EU standards. But this is not enough for the manufacturers to whom the company supplies technological solutions – in addition to technologies, it is important to deeply understand the logic of the export model: from the structure of the finished product range to logistics, storage and stability of quality indicators.
💬 “The European consumer values stability. And if Ukrainian business strives to work in this market, it should learn to meet these expectations,” concluded Oleksandr Vereshchynskyi.
