NIR analyzer INFRA GRAIN
Infrared analyzers INFRA GRAIN are designed for express analysis of moisture content, protein content, fat content, fiber content, gluten content (wheat) in grain crops and some products of their processing.
Grain (ground): corn, wheat, barley, soybeans, sunflower, rapeseed.
Milled products: malt, soy flour, soybean cake, soybean meal, sunflower cake, sunflower meal.
The operating principle of the analyzer is based on the detector measuring the amount of infrared light in a certain range (spectrum) of wavelengths after its partial absorption by the sample of the analyzed product. The amount of light absorbed by the sample at different wavelengths is directly related to the concentration of chemical functional groups, such as C-H, O-H and N-H. Since the concentrations of functional groups are related to the concentration of chemical substances (water, protein, fat, fiber, etc.), it becomes possible to determine the content of these substances based on pre-established calibrations of the absorption spectra of similar product samples with reference values of quality indicators.
Refers to spectrometers with a scanning monochromator.
In the reflection mode, light penetrates the bowl with the product, interacts with it, is partially absorbed, and partially reflected and captured by the detector, which is installed in front of the cell with the analyzed product sample.
The values of the quality indicators are determined by calculation based on the measured values of the spectral diffuse reflectance coefficients of the ground samples.
The analyzer includes: analyzer, thermal printer, spatula for removing samples, sample collection tray, operating documentation.
