Laboratory Oil Press OLISLAB 7100
Purpose and scope:
Manual laboratory press OlisLab 7100 (for oil), an upgraded version of the device PROM-1U, designed to obtain oil samples from sunflower seeds, rapeseed and other oilseeds for further analysis of acid number or other analyses.
With the help of the device, the process of obtaining cold-pressed oil from oilseeds is realized by mechanical action of a hydraulic telescopic jack on the product layer, which is in the working cylinder. To create a necessary force, a hydraulic system is used, filled with a special oil that is not prone to compression.
It is used at grain-receiving, grain processing, feed, oil extraction, bakery and other food enterprises, variety testing breeding stations, research laboratories and inspection companies.
Scope of application: for the standardized determination of the acid number in oil according to DSTU 8839:2019 “Oilseeds. Methods for determining the acid number of oil”; DSTU ISO 729:2005 (ISO 729:1988) Oilseeds. Determination of oil acidity»; according to ISO 729:1988 “Oilseeds – Determination of acidity of oils”; and for use in other methods according to domestic and international standards.
Description:
The device consists of a jack, a power frame, an oil extraction device, and an oil collection tank.
The initial product is placed at the bottom of the working cylinder with a layer of no more than 10-20 mm and lightly compacted with a punch several times. By raising the jack rod to the upper position, a pressure is created in the cylinder with the product located under the punch, sufficient to squeeze out the oil. The sufficiency of the applied force is controlled by the appearance of oil. During the exposure time under pressure, an additional 3-5 strokes are made with the press handle. If necessary, preliminary pre-pressing of the sample is carried out, then filling with subsequent pressing.
After the end of the oil extraction process, the jack rod returns to the lower position, the product (oil cake) is removed from the cylinder, and the oil sample is sent for further analysis.
