Malt friability analyzer PFEUFFER Friabilimeter

Malt friability analyzer PFEUFFER Friabilimeter is designed to evaluate the brewing value of malt.
It is used in the brewing industry and research laboratories.

The device consists of case, electric motor, grinding chamber, adjustment mechanism and a receiver box. A rotating sieve drum and a pressure roller with a rubber coating are installed in the grinding chamber.

The principle of operation of the device consists in the mechanical separation of malt into hard and loose parts as a result of impact of rotating sieve drum on a weight of malt (weighing 50 g) for a certain time (8 min).
