OLIS Expands Its Presence in Europe: Oat and Buckwheat Processing Line Launched in France

OLIS, a Ukrainian manufacturer of grain cleaning and cereal processing equipment, has launched a new international project — a processing line for oats and buckwheat in France. This installation marks another step in the company’s long-term strategy to expand into Western European markets, where demand for modern grain cleaning and dehulling technologies continues to grow.

Key Equipment: SHCO Dehuller and ASO Air Separator

At the facility in (region name), OLIS supplied and commissioned a processing complex that includes:

  • SHCO Oat Dehuller A specialized machine designed for gentle and precise dehulling of oats. Its engineering design ensures a minimal percentage of broken kernels and consistently high quality of finished cereal products.
  • ASO Air Separator An efficient machine for separating grain fractions based on aerodynamic properties. The ASO plays a crucial role in premium-segment cereal production, enabling the processor to obtain clean, uniform raw material.
  • Control Panel A fully integrated control system that ensures fast start-up, easy adjustments, and stable operation of the entire processing line.

The complete set of equipment was engineered and manufactured in Ukraine at OLIS production facilities.

Why European Processors Choose OLIS

In recent years, the European grain-processing market has demonstrated growing interest in cooperation with Ukrainian manufacturers. The reason lies in OLIS’s combination of advanced engineering, stable performance, and flexible technical solutions.

“The European market does not grant favors — you can succeed here only with quality, stability, and responsibility. For several years, we have been supplying our equipment to Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Denmark, Germany — and every completed project proves that Ukrainian engineering can compete on equal terms,”
— said Volodymyr Chehlatoniev, Acting CEO of OLIS.

Strategic Importance of the Project in France

The launch of the oat and buckwheat processing line in France is a significant milestone for OLIS, representing both progress and direction for further development.

This project:

  • demonstrates strong demand for Ukrainian technologies in countries with high food safety standards;
  • confirms the effectiveness of OLIS’s export strategy aimed at strengthening its position within the EU;
  • opens new opportunities for further supplies of cereal processing and grain cleaning equipment to enterprises in France and neighboring countries.

Engineering Expertise and Full Technical Support

The project’s success was ensured by OLIS’s engineering team, which handled equipment selection, technical documentation, commissioning, and operator training. The French client received a fully operational line with precise calibration and adaptation to local requirements.

Ukrainian Technology on the Global Map

In recent years, OLIS has been actively increasing exports of grain processing equipment. Today the company supplies machinery to more than 35 countries, including Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa.

The project in France once again confirms that Ukrainian engineering solutions fully meet international standards for efficiency, product quality, and food safety.
