This is a small report on our participation in the Elevator Plus conference, which is already traditional for such events. We start with the numbers – they are the most eloquent:

In 2018, agricultural products accounted for almost 39.8% of Ukraine’s total exports and retain leadership in its commodity structure. Record volumes of agricultural exports to the EU countries were recorded – USD 6.3 billion. This is up from USD 5.8 billion in 2017. Experts predict further export growth. The conference discussed the issues of concern to elevator operators. All possible options for improving the efficiency of work with the use of modern technologies, starting from the design and construction stage, were actively considered.

Another important issue at this conference is the methods of grain cleaning and how to choose grain cleaning machines, transport equipment, etc. The participation of OLIS LLC in such a conference is very important. The speaker was the head of the research centre Mykola Muzyka, who made a presentation and report on the topic: “Advantages of grain separators of OLIS LLC.” Mykola spoke about the peculiarities of grain cleaning, what issues to pay attention to when choosing a separator and the advantages of our machines. The question of what separators are used for preliminary and primary cleaning and what is their difference was discussed in detail.

The speaker spoke in detail about the line of drum-type separators, namely the ZSO Luch grain separators with a capacity of 15 to 300 tonnes of grain per hour; SKO scalpers with a capacity of 100 to 300 tonnes per hour. We also talked about our line of flat-sieve separators: Gorizont-K, with a capacity of 40 to 400 tonnes of grain per hour; and PSO separator, with a capacity of 2.5 to 100 tonnes of grain per hour. This line aroused great interest among the conference participants, who asked a lot of questions about the specifics of their operation and the adjustment of this equipment.

Thank you to The Ukrainian Farmer and Agrotimes.net for the excellent organisation and the opportunity for dialogue with grain market participants!
