2025 is a symbolic milestone for OLIS, which has been at the forefront of technological changes in the grain processing industry for two decades.
The company literally started from a “garage”, like Microsoft or Apple once did, and in 20 years it has built its own high-tech production, exporting its developments to over 35 countries around the world — from Canada to Tanzania, from the EU to Central Asia — this is how Oleksandr Vereshchynskyi, co-founder of the company, Doctor of Technical Sciences, recalls the beginning of OLIS:
“This is not just export — this is recognition. Recognition that Ukrainian mechanical engineering is capable of setting standards even in countries with long-standing engineering schools.”
OLIS is not just about machines. It is about thinking ahead of time and passion embodied in metal. Over two decades, OLIS has created over 30 patented technical solutions and developed over 200 items of equipment. It has built its own modern factory with the latest equipment and established an effective service system. Engineering developments have reached a qualitatively new level – thanks to the introduction of 3D design, the accuracy and speed of equipment installation and subsequent launch are ensured. This also allowed remote supervision of equipment installation and launch during the pandemic. The first experience of such implementation was implemented in Kazakhstan, and later in Canada. At the same time, the company is constantly improving its products in accordance with market requirements.
The company created one of the world’s largest grain cleaning drum separators “LUCH-300″, with a capacity of over 300 tons per hour, which is installed, in particular, at the Starokostyantynivske MEZ, Transgrain Terminal in Chornomorsk and other enterprises in Ukraine and abroad. At the same time, for small farms, OLIS engineers developed compact PSO separators based on the line of flat-screen separators ” HORIZONT-K ” – equipment that is adapted to the real needs of farmers, and not vice versa.
“We design systematically — from idea to implementation,” says Volodymyr Cheglatoniev, Deputy CEO for Commercial Affairs at OLIS. “Our goal is not just to sell equipment, but to become part of the customer’s technological process. We are responsible for how our solutions will work years later.”
Today, the OLIS team has about 200 specialists, and each of them is part of a large mechanism that works harmoniously.
The company actively cooperates with the Odesa National Technological University, training a new generation of engineers. It’s not just about innovation — it’s about investing in the future of Ukrainian science and industry.
“I consider the company successful. Success is how the customer perceives you. And when our machines are bought in the USA or Turkey — this is the best indicator. But the most important thing is our team. At times when I want to give up, I remember that thanks to us, almost 200 families have jobs. And I just can’t stop,” shares Oleksandr Vereshchynskyi.
OLIS is 20 years of steel engineering passion. These are:

“The greatest happiness is to see your idea come to life. When the machine starts up, it works perfectly – this is the moment when you walk with wings for a while. This is what we work for,” concludes Oleksandr Vereshchynskyi.
