On September 26, 2012, an industry conference “Quality and Safety of Grain Products” was held in Kyiv (Ukraine) as part of the business program of the international forum “Comprehensive Laboratory Support”. Along with others, laboratory equipment manufacturers Pfeuffer GmbH (Germany), Chopin Technologies (France) took part in the conference. The specialized conference was sponsored by the OLIS company.
Issues of the quality of the current year’s harvest in Ukraine, the system for assessing the quality of grain and grain products, innovative equipment for measuring quality indicators of grain and its processed products became the main topics of discussion at the conference for more than 70 representatives of the largest grain companies in Ukraine.
Vladimir Cheglatonev, director of OLIS LLC, introduced those present to the report “Equipment for comprehensive equipment of laboratories of grain processing industry enterprises.” The company’s team began working in the field of technology and production of grain processing equipment in 1996. “In the beginning, we used laboratory equipment on the market to control the quality of grain,” emphasized Vladimir Cheglatonev, “and were forced to conclude: most of these are expensive imported instruments, or domestic ones developed in Soviet times, which are morally outdated, given today’s advances in laboratory analysis. That’s why the OLIS company opened a new line of work in 2007 and began producing laboratory equipment.”
At the conference, 14 laboratory products produced by OLIS LLC were reviewed.Many participants were already familiar to one degree or another with these devices, as they are used in enterprise laboratories. The presented complete list of manufactured laboratory equipment and the modernization of products, determined by new trends in the market and the wishes of laboratory specialists, aroused great interest among the participants of the conference and forum.
Among those presented, special attention of those present was attracted by the universal grain divider UDZ-1M, PROM-1 manual press and its PROM variety -1U with stop shock absorber, universal laboratory sieving RLU-1, drying cabinet SESH-3MU.
Vladimir Cheglatonev also drew the attention of the participants to a new product of OLIS LLC – Grain turner VZ-1. The agitator, which is used in floor-mounted granaries and helps preserve the quality of grain for the entire storage period, earned high praise from conference participants – professionals in the field of quality and safety of grain products.
