A plant for processing oats into groats and flakes has been commissioned in Lithuania — another international project by OLIS. The customer was Galinta ir partneriai, a long-standing partner of the company — OLIS had previously supplied buckwheat processing equipment, which has been in operation at the enterprise for a long time.
The implemented project will allow the customer to expand its product line. Over the years of the company’s existence, its products have gained recognition not only in the markets of Lithuania and other Baltic countries, but also among consumers in the US, the UK, and Scandinavia, who value product quality and healthy eating principles.
According to the project, the plant was to carry out complete processing of grain into oat flakes. Therefore, both technological solutions for the production of flakes and technologies for husking and sorting grain for the production of oat groats, which is the raw material for flakes, were implemented. OLIS always assists its partners in setting up equipment, and this project was no exception—precise engineering adjustments were made to the technology to match the characteristics of the raw materials and clearly defined requirements for the quality of the finished product.
For OLIS, this plant is yet another confirmation of its systematic presence in EU markets and the ability of Ukrainian machine building to operate in the food processing segment with high quality standards.
💬 “Launching a new production facility is always a matter of trust in the technology and the people behind it. European companies are very cautious about such decisions, and for us, cooperation with Galinta ir partneriai is confirmation that our technological solutions are perceived as a reliable basis for food processing. We have been working in European markets for several years and understand well that trust is built not through statements, but through real projects that work consistently,” said Vladimir Cheglatonev, acting CEO of OLIS.
