Description:
Structurally, the Pelican sampler consists of a narrow rectangular-shaped container with a handle, which has three versions: elongated bilge, ordinary long 1.5 m long and short. The container is framed with leather-edged yuft, which prevents grain destruction, and its small width allows sampling both along the entire width of the grain flow and from any part of it. The long and strong handle, which is riveted to the aluminum body using a metal overlay, makes it possible to hold the device firmly with two hands while taking samples, while at the same time being at a safe distance from the falling stream. In the area of the handle attachment, the container has a higher edge, which helps to catch grain from a not completely vertical flow.
