ECOR has launched a new cereal production line with support from USAID and OLIS technologies
In 2025, EKOR officially opened a new cereal production plant—a modern, innovative facility created with the support of the USAID Agricultural and Rural Development Program (AGRO). OLIS became the key technological partner of the project, providing the enterprise with a set of equipment for cereal production.
The opening of the plant was attended by EKOR Director Volodymyr Didenko and OLIS CEO Volodymyr Cheglatonev, underscoring the strategic nature of the cooperation between the two Ukrainian manufacturers.
New opportunities for ECOR — thanks to modern OLIS technologies
The new plant is equipped with OLIS equipment, which provides a complete cycle of flake production. The production line allows for the production of flakes from wheat, barley, buckwheat, oats, and peas, ensuring:
- consistent grain cleaning and calibration quality,
- delicate husking,
- minimal product loss,
- energy efficiency of production processes.
Thanks to the implementation of this complex, EKOR has significantly increased its production capacity and expanded its range of finished products.
“For us, this is not just a new production line — it is a strategic step towards the development of the Ukrainian processing sector. We want to show that it is possible to manufacture European-level products in Ukraine using domestic raw materials and modern technologies,” said Volodymyr Didenko, director of EKOR TZ LLC.
OLIS as a technological partner in the development of Ukrainian processing
OLIS acted as the key engineering partner of the project:
- selected the technological equipment;
- ensured the production and completion of the systems;
- performed commissioning works;
- trained the company’s personnel.
During the opening ceremony, Volodymyr Cheglatonev emphasized that the EKOR project is a prime example of how Ukrainian machine building is capable of providing a full cycle of grain processing technologies that meet international standards.
“Over many years of cooperation, ECOR knew for sure that our technologies work and are effective and reliable. I am very grateful to ECOR for choosing OLIS as the supplier of the new line. I am also grateful to USAID and Chemonics International for supporting and financing this project.”
Cooperation that creates added value for the market
The modernization project was made possible thanks to the support of the USAID AGRO Program, which aims to develop Ukrainian agricultural producers, increase competitiveness, and introduce innovations.
The successful interaction between EKOR and OLIS, with the support of the USAID Program, demonstrates how partnerships between public, private, and international institutions contribute to the development of Ukraine’s processing industry.
A strategic move for both companies
For EKOR, the opening of the new plant marks a new stage of growth and an opportunity to enter domestic and international markets with an updated product line.
For OLIS, it is yet another confirmation of its expertise in creating modern lines for:
- grain cleaning,
- husking,
- cereal crop preparation,
- and the launch of comprehensive turnkey production solutions.
Ukrainian technologies working for the future
OLIS continues to support the development of processing enterprises in Ukraine by providing them with equipment that meets the requirements of the modern food market — from consistent quality to energy efficiency and technological reliability.
The EKOR project is another example of how Ukrainian technologies are shaping a competitive processing industry and helping businesses expand with confidence.
